My first works were a personal “expanded field” that I recreated sculpturally, with a treatment inspired by the photographic, capturing close forms with references centered on:​

  1. Objects that surrounded me, giving rise to pieces that resembled a ladder, a bag, a table, a chair …, like snapshots that captured specific moments of everyday life.
  2. My own body, treated as a spatial self-portrait. Supports and structures made to my measure that I registered photographically in two times; empty sculpture and with me inside dressed in red.
  3. Architectural spaces of neighbors’ courtyards, doors, ruins and floors.
  4. Landscapes and mountain profiles.
  5. The evolution of forms from soft to crystalline as a method of exploration.

I used different woods as the main material and experimented with assembly, bending, gluing and harvesting techniques.​
